Welcome Message

The NRB Worldwide Foundation was created in 2009 and supports the needs of the Non Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) community outside of Bangladesh, by the development and promotion of the knowledge and skills as a common base for intellectual exchange to support the enrichment of Bangladesh.

The Foundations collective efforts and the driving strength is primarily from the NRBs who have been officially recognised and given the status by the Government of Bangladesh as a investor in the country through acknowledgment of special privilege and commercially important person (CIP).

The activities of the Foundation are controlled by its members. Membership is open to all NRBs and organisations with an interest in Bangladesh. We also welcome comments and participation from non-members. Much of our work is informal, via e-mail, networking events and discussion groups; therefore we encourage participants from NRB communities

The NRB community has a lot to be proud of: a high percentage of remittance is sent annually to Bangladesh to sustain family and businesses, the new generation of NRBs are highly skilled and educated and making tremendous input in the mainstream companies and significant amount is invested by NRBs in various projects in Bangladesh.

There is no doubt that the NRB Worldwide Foundation is a platform for NRBs in working collectively to make effective contribution to Bangladesh as well as maintaining the NRBs objectives and privileges.

We're always open to new ideas, so please let us know how the NRB Worldwide Foundation can help the NRBs and the communities in large.
